Today’s blog post is about two photographer’s from RococoImaging who I had the pleasure of meeting a few weeks ago, on a photoshoot forSarah Michelle Holt and then again for a shoot with Lou Watson.

Rococo Imaging is a photography company owned by two guys, Paul and Gareth. These guys work closely together to get arrange of different style shots. Paul will get the majority of the body shots and Gareth will take more portraits, by shooting together at the same time they avoid missing something the other person didn’t see.

Both of them are pursuing a dream career in photography after falling in love with their first cameras. Gareth’s was a DSLR and Paul was a Panasonic Lumix FZ38, they both realised they could take really good pictures and that their individual approach complimented each other’s. They both came together after noticing that their individual techniques complimented each others.

The way they edit a picture they have taken is really cool and very different, proving not only they have a photographic eye but also an artistic talent. A lot of their photography comes from post-processing which is how they got into fashion and music photography, allowing them to being really creative with their imagery.

The images I have featured in today’s blog, are a mixture fantasy style and classic fashion. It is really visible that they both love the art of post-processing which is a controversial editing technique to change and manipulate an image after the image has been taken. The finished product looks as though it has been made digitally, changing the reality of the image and creating something that looks ‘fake’. Both being inspired by so many images which also use this technique, they have self taught themselves to recreate their own style.

Paul and Gareth have shot for some really good gigs and labels and often feature in Monograph Music Magazine. They have shot music gigs for Kissy Sell Out and his label San City High label in Liverpool and Leicester, Strawberry field’s festival this summer and they also recently shot The Magic Numbers on their recent acoustic tour. They have also recently done a fashion shot for Jack Jones/Vera Moda for Labelled magazine.

Go check out their Website http://www.rococoimaging.co.uk/ and Facebook www.facebook.com/originalrococoimaging?fref=ts page, or drop them an email if you would like to work with them.

Would love to hear your thoughts, hopefully these guys have inspired you to get creative.
